Our Arrows2hunt story

I discovered hunting at the age of 30, at the invitation of my father, who needed help with his deer hunt. It was then that my passion for hunting began to germinate, and the following season I was ready. I’d been rifle hunting for a few years when I met Lorraine. I thought it was important to introduce him to hunting right from the start. I have to admit I was a little worried about his reaction to harvesting a white-tailed deer with a firearm. It was a very cold day, we were both freezing, and I thought she was sure to hate the experience. After hours of waiting, a deer appeared at the end of a field, and it was now or never.

What a surprise it was to see Lorraine running after the deer, shouting “you got it, you got it!!!” The following year, Lorraine took her introductory hunting course, the year the crossbow was introduced as a hunting device. She came home very enthusiastic about crossbow hunting. A few weeks later, we had our first two Excaliburs in hand. We had become exclusively crossbow hunters. In those days, women were not yet common hunters, and the fact that we hunted as a couple had its controversial moments. Yet it was only natural for us to practice our passion together, and our hunting duo has found its way through almost two decades. There are many advantages to hunting as a couple.

It’s a chance to take a break from the daily grind, enjoy a common activity, feel strong emotions, work together towards a common goal and share successes and disappointments. This contributes greatly to the development of the couple. And that’s why today, we want to share the hunting couple mentality with as many people as possible via all our social networking platforms such as Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok…

We are a couple with a passion for hunting with bow and crossbow exclusively, and have been doing so for almost 20 years. Indeed, we ‘ve swapped the crossbow for the bow over the last few years, with a renewed passion for this close-up hunt. We particularly appreciate this opportunity to share the intimacy of the game during the many hours of observation just a few meters from the hide. We founded “Arrows2hunt in the Wild” in 2018 to document and share our passion with you via social networks. Since then, we’ve also introduced Kaven and Carolanne, a new hunter couple, to our team, who you’ll discover in upcoming seasons on our various platforms.

Arrows2hunt in the Wild” is dedicated to promoting couple’s bow and crossbow hunting through our adventures! For all hunting enthusiasts, we hope to offer you not only entertainment with good quality images, but also interesting content that will make you want to put on your hunting boots and get your crossbow or bow out of the cupboard. We’ll be showing you hunting videos of Quebec game, testing various hunting-related products and discussing tips for putting your own videos online.
