A giant 70-inch moose among a herd of moose

We don’t get to see them very often, but when we do, they can be very entertaining. We shared Libby’s footage of this day a few weeks ago and today we’ll share mine.While we’re at it, Libby and I enjoy working together, filming from different angles, teaming up to better cover the job.I should point out that this video is not in the order of our general sharing of the 2023 moose rut, it happened late in the rut and we still have a lot to share from the weeks leading up to this day. The moose gatherings are wonderful. Although the animals have started feeding again by this time, there can still be all sorts of rut-related behavior, including fighting, a chase or two and even mating if one of the cows in the group hasn’t been bred.The most important thing to emphasize here is what Libby mentioned in the narration. There was a pack of wolves in the area that day. We’ll tell you more in part three of Moose Party.
