A huge moose head waving in battle

A huge moose head waving in battle. Welcome to another video from the MooseMan team and Moose & Coffee! We’ve only been back a month, having left the 2022 moose rut in Alaska behind us, but it’s been a busy month. Our new team member is a pleasure to work with, and we’re busy planning adventures for 2023. I’ve noticed strong support and gratitude from many of you lately, and it’s really wonderful what we’ve built here together. Thank you to each and every one of you.Today’s M&C video is intense. A moose shaking its head! What’s shaking your head? When two bulls are preparing to fight for the right to mate, these huge animals swing their heads back and forth as they advance towards their opponent or, in many cases, towards higher ground before the fight. A bull on higher ground may have an advantage over a bull lower down. As they walk, bulls wave their antlers back and forth in an attempt to show off their racks and perhaps make their antlers appear larger than they really are. Bulls often stop briefly and slowly turn and tilt their heads to show their opponent the full width of their headgear. It’s absolutely incredible to watch! And you can see a lot of bulls shaking their heads in this morning’s video.Lately, Libby has been doing a ” voiceover” narrating the clips, and we’ll be doing more, but for this time… sit back and enjoy the show. Keep in mind that shaking your head doesn’t always lead to a fight, but more often than not it does. Here is the list of bulls as they appear. Boris, Son of KJ, Mismatch, 22 vs Left Hook, Mr T vs Chantler, Jake, Left Hook vs Swagger, Swagger vs Chantler, Grumpy, Grumpy & Mismatch, Son of KJ vs Jake, Slew vs Pointdexter, and finally Grumpy vs MisMatch. Thanks for watching our channel, we’re the husband/wife team of Rick and Libby Libbey, (Libby squared), New Hampshire (and Alaska part-time) wildlife photographers. It’s our passion to document wildlife of all kinds, but elk are definitely at the top of our list. In New Hampshire, we spend many of our spring and summer kayaking hours photographing loons and elk in New Hampshire waters. And we hike miles and miles in Alaska in search of all kinds of wildlife in the fall. For To find out more about Nikon/Sony equipment, techniques and wildlife, click on the links below. prints on canvas, framed, in metal, of our images, as well as derivative products: t-shirts, caps, mugs, puzzles, books and others, which you will find on our website. information :You can look at other videos on this link.Youtube: https://bit.ly/YTMooseManSite web: https://bit.ly/WebMooseManInstagram: https://bit.ly/IGMooseManNOUVEAU* Twitter: https://bit.ly/TWMooseManNOUVEAU* Pinterest: https://bit.ly/PTMooseMan#moosephotography #mooseofinstagram #wildlifephotographer #alaska #alaskatravel #naturephotographylovers #naturephotography #wildlifephotography #wildlifephotographer #moosephotography #MooseMonday #moosemafia #AlaskaWildlife #alaskawinterRick & Libby Libbey ownersAndover, NH 03216Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
