A huge young bull moose takes over the dominant zone

Hello moose fans! If you’re just going to watch the video without reading the message, at least turn up the volume! However, we encourage you to read today’s story. This goes a long way to explaining what’s going on, and which part of the rut it was.

We strive not only to share with you the moose rut of 2023, but also to try to explain all the events by telling the stories contained in the articles. Swagger and Flat Top had a “chess match” in the first two weeks of September, with Swagger having the advantage over FT those first two weeks. But halfway out of the rut, Flat Top started to move. In 6 days, we think these two bulls have fought twice (there will be a video on one of them). In those days, each bull had a few cows, and they even lived a little close to each other.

We watched every day as one bull succeeded, the next another. We think Swagger’s wisdom and experience and Flat Top’s young age also came into play, but as the days went by, it was clear that Flat Top had a plan all along…he just had to figure out how to execute it.Here’s our information:
