An antlered moose takes on a giant moose

We’re working on the video showing what finally put an end to this wonderful gathering of elks that day. This video will be available in the coming weeks. Fifteen moose took part.

We know it’s just a bunch of moose getting together for some post-rut behavior, but “moose party” is a fun term we’ve given to this event.
Today’s photo shows FT23, TJ, Alexander (Graham Bell), and some spirited youngsters. It’s always a pleasure to observe and study a huge bull moose mentoring a younger animal. We’ll let Libby’s narration tell the story today.

We’ll be wrapping up the last photos of the dynasty males on Thursday and Friday, and on Saturday we’ll be presenting a VERY special video for everyone. Prepare the coffee.
