Its mission is to represent and defend the interests of hunters and anglers in the region. QuebecOur goal is to contribute to education on safe practices, and to actively participate in the conservation and enhancement of wildlife in order to ensure the sustainability of resources and the perpetuation of hunting and fishing as traditional, heritage and recreational activities.

Fishing activities
The Pêche en herbe program introduces youngsters aged 6 to 17 to sport fishing (ice fishing and summer fishing).

Objectives
Promote the development of the next generation of Quebec fishermen.

How it works
Groups of young people aged 6 to 17 are invited to spend a day near a body of water, learning about fish biology, the basics of fishing, respect for the environment, regulations and safety.
