André Veilleux, editor-in-chief of Aventure Chasse magazine & Pêche, reports on his 2015 bear hunt at Domaine Touristique La Tuque outfitter in Haute-Mauricie. He was able to unleash an arrow that may not have been perfect, but deadly nonetheless, allowing him to find the animal quickly. Lours weighed a respectable 200 pounds.
