Bobcat Nature Moose kits and Mom. This is the second year we’ve photographed these lynxes in their winter den. For a whole month, we only saw the mother, but we knew there were kittens, given all the traces. We tried to trace them back into the woods but there were far too many converging tracks, including those of a large male (where he marked a tree).We finally saw a kit after a full month with the mother, and it was brief.

We were shocked a month later when a second kit! This is the only video we have of the two kits together. They’ve all since moved on to other lairs. These are the two Lila kits of 2019. She’d had two kits the year before, but they tended to stay more in the family. You never know with wildlife, especially those elusive bobcats. Make the most of it!
