Just a few kilometers from Montreal, in the middle of the St. Lawrence River, 5 small islands form the Îles-de-Boucherville National Park. This park offers green spaces, channels teeming with life and waterfront trails. Walkers, cyclists and canoeists come here to breathe the fresh air and escape the noise of the city. Others will take a trip back in time to discover the first nations to visit the park’s islands. In winter, Sainte-Marguerite Island offers skiers and snowshoers snow-covered landscapes and a peaceful atmosphere conducive to observing animals and signs of their presence. 21 km of multi-purpose trails let you discover the site’s finest attractions. Children under 5 years of age are not allowed on rental boats. The minimum age for being alone in a boat is 16. Equipment is available at the Île Sainte-Marguerite rental center and at the Grosbois service center for campers. If you have your own equipment, use the launch at the rental center.
