The X-Bolt floats, positioning the front and rear of the action for stability and to help maintain the spacing between barrel and stock for consistent accuracy. A recessed mouth crown helps protect scratches from damage.

X-Bolt provides traction

The X-Bolt’s new three-lever Feather trigger provides clean, precise traction, with no recoil or creep and minimal overtravel. X-Lock bezel brackets feature an all-new design with four screws per base, replacing the traditional two-screw system. The advantages are obvious, as the bases are fixed at all four corners. The construction and material of the recoil pad are exclusive and promote a directional deflection of recoil forces, moving the stock comb away from your face to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise. The breech elevation of 60° is fast, allowing you to operate the breech quickly without the scope getting in the way. An all-new detachable rotary charger is incorporated into the X-Bolt. Constructed from a lightweight, durable polymer, the charger is designed to feed cartridges directly.
