Descriptions:

After my trip to Kansas, I still had a label to fill. The idea that I’d killed three bucks in eight days was starting to spread, and all I could think was that I still had a tag to fill in Illinois. Javin and I went back to Illinois and hunted on my farm for a day, but I didn’t have much to shoot on my new farm. The Lord works in mysterious ways, for as we were wondering what we should do, I received a call from one of my contacts at Novix Treestands, Caleb. Caleb had a friend, Ryan, who had a proposition for me. He had a massive old phantom male on his property that he and the neighbors had seen for years but could never close the deal. Most of the time, when we saw him, it was at night, on a camera. The famous stag was nicknamed Scissors. Ryan told me I could come try to kill this deer they called Scissors and that if I killed it, all he wanted was for me to learn something by doing a free consultation on his property. This guy was putting his pride aside to try and learn something. It’s really hard not to respect him. I’m not going to lie, it was an unprecedented challenge. I’d never set foot on that farm in my life, and killing that deer Ryan and his neighbors had been trying to kill for so long would be something pretty special. It was a challenge I was very excited and honored to accept, and the story is incredible. Here it is at last! The story of Scissors! (tagsTranslate)Hunting
