Clay Hayes Hunter Build Osage Orange Bow Alone

This week, we’re back in the bow-building workshop to make another wooden longbow. This time, I’m building a hollow-branch bow in Osage Orange Seul. The hollow-branch bow design works very well with the high-crown staves of small-diameter trees. This ASMR video on bow making shows the manufacturing process from start to finish, but doesn’t explain everything that happens.
