By introducing a reflex or recurve into the tips, we can increase speed and reduce string tracking and stacking, resulting in a bow that’s easier to shoot. We use dry heat to make the bow supple before bending the wood into a curved shape. This is one of the easiest bow-building tricks you can do to increase the speed of your own bow.
