Clay Hayes Hunter Recurve Bowhunting White-tailed Deer with Primitive Bow Part 2This week, we pick up where we left off on our traditional late-season bowhunt for Idaho mountain white-tailed deer. Although this is an extra-high ventilated top band, vented barrels, adjustable busk, Invector-DS extended chokes, high-gloss oiled finish, grade III/IV walnut, stacked rifle, Invector-DS chokes. Elegant and technically superior. With the shotgun post-rut and the bucks settled into their bedding and feeding activities, we still see plenty of activity and lots of deer, but when you’re hunting from the ground with primitive bows, nothing is guaranteed. We’ll have to get up close and personal if we want to bring home game with the Osage recurve bow. This week, Clay Hayes and his colleagues are joined by Benji Hill and Trent Wengard. Benji hunts with a wooden longbow and Trent with his custom recurve bow. Stick around to see if these guys can spot and stalk close enough to cleanly shoot and nock an arrow into one of these small animals.Don’t forget to subscribe to the channel. We upload a new video every week on one of the following topics: bowhunting, bowmaking, survival techniques, bushcraft, self-reliance, primitive technology, primitive bows, hunting, camping, fishing, and much more!”A big thank you to our partners who help us fund these videos!”https://www.3riversarchery.com/https://seekoutside.comhttps://orioncoolers.comVous can also connect with me on my other media!”Website: https://www.twistedstave.com/Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/clayhayeshunter/Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/clayhayeshunter/Patreon : https://www.patreon.com/clayhayes (tagsTranslate)bow huntingsourceWemake the best traditional archery, bow making, recurve hunting, craftsmanship and survival videos on the web. Join Clay, Liz and the kids on their outdoor adventures, from bowhunting deer and elk in the mountains of Idaho to hunting wild hogs in Florida, and practicing crafts and survival skills. We hunt and fish because we love it, but it’s also how we get most of our meat. Hunting is our way of life. We also cultivate a large garden on our Idaho property. This, combined with hunting, fishing and gathering, is how we obtain most of our food.
