On a recent wilderness camping trip, I was lucky enough to shoot a grouse with my own bow. And since it’s been a while since I’ve made any videos about catching and cooking, I thought I’d try a fun home-cooking project. The nearby creek provided the perfect source of energy for an artisanal rotisserie! I plucked the grouse and tied it with a thin willow branch, built the roasting pan and cooked the grouse on the fire until it was golden brown and dripping with fat! A little tough, as wild birds often are, but delicious!
