He also explains how to choose a solid anchor point and how that anchor point can influence the distance and location where the arrow hits the target.Clay has made several archery and recurve tips videos on his channel, but this is the first time he’s focused on the “split finger” and “three under” styles. The split finger has been popular in North America for some time, but the 3 under is gaining in popularity, particularly with target archers. Clay shot in 3-cents for years before switching to 3-cents. By adopting a three-penny string hand position, the arrow notch is brought closer to the eye. This changes the arrow’s launch angle and brings the point of impact closer to the archer. This also makes it easier to manage differences between hunting distances. and bow.
