Clay Hayes Hunter Traditional Bow Hunting Florida Deer – SHOULDER HIT!
This week we’re back home in northwest Florida traditional bow hunting deer with Clay Hayes. After a few days scouting the river, hot weather and a full moon didn’t yield much deer or hog activity. Clay heads back to his old stomping grounds, carrying his primitive bow in search of Florida’s diminutive little whitetail deer. Along the way Clay points out useful medicinal plants, signs of other wildlife, and dives into the Turpentine industry along the gulf coastal plain. This bow hunting video is chock full of bow hunting tips, nature observations, woodsmanship, and bowhunting with handmade wood bow and arrows!
Don’t forget to subscribe to the channel. We’re uploading a new video each week that features one of the following topics: archery, bow hunting, bow building, survival skills, bushcraft, self reliance, primitive skills, primitive bows, hunting, camping, fishing, and a lot more!

We make the best traditional archery, bow making, recurve hunting, craftsmanship and survival videos on the web.
Join Clay, Liz and the kids on their outdoor adventures, from bowhunting deer and elk in the mountains of Idaho to hunting wild hogs in Florida, and practicing crafts and survival skills. We hunt and fish because we love it, but it’s also how we get most of our meat.
Hunting is our way of life. We also cultivate a large garden on our Idaho property. This, combined with hunting, fishing and gathering, is how we obtain most of our food.
