Descriptions:

Clay Hayes Hunter Winter bowhunting and wall tent camping – SPOT and STALKThe snow is piling up in the mountains and, for me, that means it’s time for late-season bowhunting for whitetail deer in the western mountains. Bowhunting white-tailed deer on the ground with a traditional bow is the most difficult hunt there is. Stalking these wary animals is not a very effective technique, but it’s a lot of fun. Andy, Vance, Anthony and Tiege (the guy behind the camera) are with me on this adventure. At the end of the season, the days are short and cold, so we tend to spend a lot of time around camp, lounging around the wood-burning stove in the wall tent. The campsite in a warm tent is the best solution! We’ll also be doing some camp cooking. Don’t forget to subscribe to the channel. Every week we upload a new video on one of the following topics: archery, bowhunting, bowmaking, survival techniques, bushcraft, self-reliance, primitive techniques, primitive bows, hunting, camping, fishing, and much more! Join Clay, Liz and the kids on their outdoor adventures, from bowhunting deer and elk in the mountains of Idaho to hunting wild hogs in Florida, and practicing crafts and survival skills. We hunt and fish because we love it, but it’s also how we get most of our meat. Hunting is our way of life. We also cultivate a large garden on our Idaho property. This, combined with hunting, fishing and gathering, is how we obtain most of our food.
