The velvet comes off the antlers and the moose rut begins. Most of the velvet loss occurs between August 23 and 30. But nature always has its exceptions! We think today is the perfect day to build up the excitement and fill our imaginations with what’s in store over the next few weeks by sharing a video of some of the most thrilling moments we’ve filmed over the past six years.Grumpy begins with a clip from the day we met him in 2017.
