Good live baits include bluefin tuna, sardines, herring, greenfish, cigar minnow, pinfish and lynx eye.The following photo shows a day of mahi-mahi fishing in the Florida Keys. The weather was great and the ocean was calm. A piece of bamboo was found floating around 16 miles offshore which was full of mahi-mahi, tripletail and almaco jacks.On the east coast, these beautiful blue and green fish are called mahi mahi. On the west coast, we call them dolphins or sea breams. We also saw a large pod of dolphins during our search for mahi-mahi.Thanks for listening!
