Giant moose vs. small moose. Hello moose fans. We’re pleased to share with you this fun morning from the start of last autumn’s rut. We’ve shared a video that Libby shot that same day, but now it’s time to look at MooseMan’s footage. This is the look through Rick’s lens. Sometimes Libby and I combine sequences, other times we do our own versions of a meeting.The big guy is Flat Top and the little bull is Spike.Flat Top has the genetics to be a great bull. Who knows, he could be the son of 22. It’s just an idea. But he’s young, and he’s got the makings of a suitor, that’s for sure. We had the opportunity to see him fight last autumn. Some of you may remember, we watched him through binoculars as he fought another bull on a steep slope halfway up a mountain. It was very intense, even through the binoculars.
