Have you ever seen an adult moose cry? Have a look!

It’s the rut. The big bulls round up their cows, and no other bulls are welcome. Here, a dominant bull controls one of his cows when another BIG bull enters his arena. The second bull, however, suffers from an old injury and is blind in his right eye. This, coupled with his obviously damaged right wood at the base/pedicle, makes him very vulnerable, and it’s obvious he doesn’t want to fight. We thought it was a cow moaning when we heard the din, but we didn’t expect to find a bull making all that noise! The first bull respects the fact that the big boy is in trouble and doesn’t force the issue, letting the damaged bull walk away untouched. The aim of this video, as with many of our videos, is to illustrate the lives of animals we don’t usually see/appreciate.
