Descriptions:

Now that we’ve prepared the floor, it’s ready to be waterproofed.
Oz roller covers was kind enough to send us coating tools, rollers and brushes. It made our job easier.
2/3 of the shed is workshop space, and on this side we used a two-part polyethylene sealer to which we added a small amount of tinters to achieve a gray concrete color. We also added sand to the final layer to make it more slip-resistant. It’s a durable surface that’s easier to clean than raw concrete.
On the last third of the floor, we opted for a fancier finish, as this is where my little estuary boat will be stored and where we’ll be able to stow our fishing gear and other leisure activities. The black coat is epoxy, the speckled coat is epoxy and the top coat is polyethylene.
We wanted a slightly more spectacular effect on this side, so we opted for the black undercoat, the fleck is 70% black and 30% grey, and we also put about 300g of holographic fleck in each bucket of poly fleck. 3 x buckets of fleck to cover the soil. 6 buckets were recommended 😲 but I don’t think it’s necessary, 4 maybe.
We’re really pleased with the floor finish. (tagsTranslate)big shed
