HOT TENT and SMALL ICE FISHING – Hypothermia phobia

I’m used to documenting my arrivals and departures, but on this outing, my priorities were quite different.The trail to get here crosses a mountain, which means a very tough ascent and descent.I neglected one very important thing when I arrived. At -18 degrees Celsius lost in the depths of the woods, this is the kind of mistake that can be fatal, or at least create that panic moment of hypothermia fear.My priorities were quickly shaken. I had to get out of the cold and dry out my clothes.One thing saved me from the cold effectively, the dry, hard wood that was on the edge of the lake, just a little way back in the forest.A good stew for supper and a very comfortable night in a warm tent (thanks to this extraordinary wood) enabled me to face the cold weather on the lake and try my hand at the Ice fishing the next day.No success for the fish, but the very pleasant feeling of accomplishment of a successful difficult outing.Good viewing!MikeA+!PS.
