HUGE Buck 8 points 200 meters distance

It’s time to get down to business. The end of October is here and I’m on my annual Midwest tour. The first stop is Illinois. Although the last few years have been tough in Illinois, I have high hopes of getting within bow range of two different bucks I’ve been tracking on my Spartan cameras.

We’ve strategically timed this trip with the red moon, as I know it makes the deer move, especially the big adult bucks. In our first afternoon session, we’re in the game from the start and I’m confident that with a little adjustment to our set-up, we’ll be in the game. On the second day, we did a “hang and hunt” and you just have to look at what happened.

Let’s just say he couldn’t handle Illusion Systems’ grunt call, and he wasn’t the only one. Just look and see this epic hunt in Illinois at the end of October.
