Huge bull moose from Alaska Nature Moose

Huge Alaska Nature Moose bull. You’ve all seen the bulls in our videos when they rake, but what does it mean? The bulls rake to announce their presence, they rake to attract other bulls, to let the cows know they’re available, and also to remove the velvet once the antlers have finished growing, towards the end of August. Meet a few different bulls here in this one. Beware, one bull has an eye infection/injury that may be shocking to some. It’s not great, but I thought I’d better make it clear. If not? Make the most of it!Thanks for checking out our channel, we’re the husband/wife team of Rick and Libby Libbey, (Libby squared), New Hampshire wildlife photographers (and part-time Alaskans.) It’s our passion to document wildlife of all kinds, but elk are definitely at the top of our list. In New Hampshire, we spend many of our spring and summer kayaking hours photographing loons and elk in New Hampshire waters. And we hike miles and miles in Alaska in search of all kinds of wildlife in the fall.To find much more of our content on Nikon/Sony gear, techniques and all things wildlife, click on the links below. matted, framed, metal, canvas prints of our images as well as merchandising products; t-shirts/hats/mugs/puzzles/books and more – which you can find on our website. informations:Youtube: https://bit.ly/YTMooseManWebsite: https://bit.ly/WebMooseManInstagram: https://bit.ly/IGMooseManTwitter: https://bit.ly/TWMooseManPinterest: https://bit.ly/PTMooseMansource
