Kayaking with a Bull Moose

I was lucky enough to find this male and photograph him for 4 consecutive years. I haven’t seen him in the last two years, which makes me wonder if he’s still around… But here he is eating his way around a small pond in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where a pair of loons raise their family every year.A third loon had come onto the water and the loons had to hide their chick and look after it. (None of this is on the video..) When the intruder has flown away, you can hear him run across the water for his takeoff, then make his announcement as he flies over the water. After he left, the loons reunited with their chick and all was well and quiet on the pond.
