Moose fighting: how it’s done! Moose Nature

A large male moose (note the fracture/hole in the pallet of his right antler from another fight, as well as a broken tooth) grazes quietly until another male is seen nearby. The two begin to approach, shaking their heads, and after gauging each other, decide to fight. Short but furious and so intensely powerful, it’s a wonder no one got hurt. At one point, the darkest bull loses a chip/tip of tooth, but apart from a wounded ego/pride, there were no casualties in this round. They ended up lying a few meters apart. The escape is shown in slow motion after the only real time shot. (The background sound is the raging creek nearby).source
