The Farrar family’s passion for hunting and fishing goes back a long way. And the desire to share this passion with other nature lovers was born long before the current generation of Farrars. It was in the late 60s, when the concept of outfitting didn’t yet exist, that Marc Farrar began his modest entrepreneurial activities with the acquisition of two cottages in the Haute-Mauricie region. Over the years, the family built several cottages and an inn that welcomed many nature enthusiasts, until she acquired the small outfitter Today, Oscar Lake Outfitter in La Tuque is recognized as one of the largest and most beautiful outfitters in Quebec.
