Norma BR 6mm rifle with coaxial front rest support

Norma BR 6mm rifle with coaxial front rest | Aventure Chasse Peche Orignal Chevreuil Outfitters and the great outdoors

Full text by Yves Nadeau After testing 3 rest (support) coaxial factory passed the 1200$ while noting different feeling of their articulated arm requiring a certain level of attention for the micro lateral and vertical displacement because I found that particularly the ratio of their articulated arm was a little too fast and the resistance of their articulated arm for some of them lacked fluidity having jerky resistances for some beyond 6 ounces Then another challenge of size, that is to say improved a product made in US just as the Japanese do so well. I made one, but with double articulated arms, allowing 2 independent resistors to be linked together, and these 2 fluid resistors are less than 6 ounces, so each resistor can be used to move either vertically or horizontally (very straight) as needed, or straight or obliquely, while supporting this brand-new 21 .5 lb with all apparent and non-apparent stabilizers, either hydraulic or suspension (vibratory), will be jointly linked to the future development of the loads, because everything is new, just as I myself was at my very beginnings in long-range rifle shooting less than 1 year ago to stop at this brand-new activity, and from the start I had as my personal challenge to manufacture everything myself without any middlemen such as gunsmiths, machinists or cabinetmakers, I’m now retired from home building, with basic woodworking tools that I’ve modified to work certain metals such as the barrel block, and to increase the challenge, instead of starting with a Costom action from Stil Bernard, I’m going up with a big, ultra-rigid Savage 12 single-action with a small barrel near Shilen, both of which I’ve outgrown. It’s like climbing aboard a 600-horsepower Corvette and trying to keep up with a 1200-horsepower Ferrari built by 4 intermediaries on a Ferrari circuit. And tomorrow at 100 yards, I start doing load development while trying to balance the barrel block FOC as well as find a potable torque in lb inches to the 10 1/4 x28 bolts securing the top of the barrel block. And on Saturday before noon on July 19, I’m off to Valcartier’s Batoche firing range to test its handling at 600 yards on my brand-new prototype, my double-armed coaxial rest.
