Outdoors Allie The Frank | Outdoor Idaho
Want more Outdoor Idaho? Subscribe to our channel @OutdoorIdaho. This is the largest forest wilderness area in the 48 US states, larger even than some of the states. Outside Alaska, only the Death Valley wilderness is larger. How did the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness become law? We explore this question with a handful of people who were there and helped make it happen.
We’ll visit some of these 2.3 million acres, a landscape where nature now throws its dice.
It’s been 35 years since Congress created the “River of No Return” wilderness area. We take the pulse of this magical, isolated immensity, now known simply as The Frank.

I’m Allie, archer, hunter, fisher and defender of public lands. But really, I’m a lover of all things outdoors! I like to share all my adventures on YouTube, the good and the bad. Learning to enjoy the outdoors is a PROCESS, and I’m here to share mine with you.
I began documenting and sharing my outdoor adventures on social media in 2015 through the Outdoors Allie channel as a way to connect with like-minded people; those who hunt for food, care deeply about wildlife, public land conservation, and enjoy sharing a cold one around a campfire.
