Part 2 of the Swagger’s moose rut

Welcome to Moose & Coffee and Swagger’s Rut Pit Part 2!
Although our time in Alaska is over for this year, we’re just beginning to share Moose Rut 2023. How cool! We have all kinds of moose from the 2023 rut to share on this channel.

If anyone has discovered the MooseMan channel in the last few days, go back to Wednesday and watch Part 1. The week in which these two videos were filmed was a turning point for the valley’s big two… Flat Top and Swagger. Today’s text is a little longer, because this story deserves to be told properly. Keep an eye out for upcoming videos, with more images from the same week these videos were filmed (mid-September). It’s very revealing.

Swagger tries with all his might to control this rutted pit, but chaos erupts. Ironically, in 2018, it was Swagger himself who tried to steal the rut pit from Mr T. And what’s even crazier is that these two events happened 5 years apart, but within a few hundred meters of each other. You can find this video and many others in our YouTube playlists.

I’ll let Libby’s narration tell the gist of today’s story, but I’ll add this. As I said, it was a pivotal week. Swagger and Flat Top had just engaged in a huge battle just hours before this video was shot, and to take it a step further… while all this was going on in the pit, Flat Top was a few hundred yards away with more cows!
