Some Huge Awesome Bull Moose Up Close | MooseMan Video Photography Calendar

Giant moose up close! Thanks to long lenses and the ability to crop during video processing, we can get you even closer than you ever dreamed to a huge Alaskan bull moose in rut. Here are some of our favorites in their larger-than-life glory. Here, these impressive males spend their day; from checking on their cows, to taking a drink from the stream, to stopping to nibble twigs, to fighting (this is when they give their intimidating nod as they walk towards each other, but it looks like they’re heading straight for the camera. It’s very cool). In some sections, you can tell the bulls have been fighting given their scratched/marred hides.

You’ve probably already seen the little male splashing around, but he also deserves a place in this video, then other young elk up to the big male I filmed for 4 years straight in a remote pond in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Have you ever seen a bull moose splash around like a child? or an adult bull moose apnea? Well, that’s what you’re about to see.

It’s our passion to document wildlife in all its forms, but elk are definitely at the top of the list. In New Hampshire, we spend many of our spring and summer kayaking hours photographing loons and elk in New Hampshire waters. And we hike miles and miles in Alaska in search of all kinds of wildlife in the fall.
