The journey continues for Left Hook. It’s no secret that I’ve been fascinated by him for five years now. We always remember how special it is to spend time with him. Grumpy will always have a big part of my heart, but Left Hook is and always has been my (and Rick’s) favorite.FT23 is climbing the ladder of favorite bulls. It’s a lot of fun trying to figure it all out.I’ll always remember that day in 2022 when the winds in the area where we were hiking were excessively strong…we decided not to hike. I was back at the rental to make some videos and a friend told me he had just seen LH, and I went into the wind to try to see him. The wind was pushing me in all directions and moving me several meters at a time, so I had to look anyway. I never found it, but I tried. I have no regrets.Today’s video continues the sharing of the 2023 rut and shows a little more of all the activity Left Hook engaged in a few weeks after losing his velvet.I’ll just say this. He was very busy during the last rut, tending to the cows almost constantly, digging pits all over the place.
