As we continue to share Moose Rut 2023, it’s time for you to meet new males. Meet Bob Gnarly! To say this guy is a brawler is an understatement! As you watch the video, take a close look at its antlers and body. Who knows how many fights he’s had this autumn, but one thing’s for sure: there have been more than two. We remind you that we’ve only shared a small part of the moose rut in 2023. There’s so much to come. We told you we were going to have fun this way. We thank you all for your continued support and patience.Back to Bob Gnarly. We don’t know much about him. We only spent a few hours with him. It’s a good time to talk about moose fighting. They’re intense. And yes, sometimes a male is injured or even dies. As much as we love these animals, we must understand and respect the fact that moose For almost 11 months of the year, moose are peaceful animals, eating and resting while females raise their young. They are essentially solitary animals. But every autumn, for six weeks, chaos ensues.
