The loon’s vocalizations

The loon’s vocalizations. Welcome to Sunday Fun Day! Grab a coffee and settle in for some really fun images of loons. Of course, Libby and I are crazy about moose! We film them every autumn, and hike several kilometers just to observe and study the rut. But we’re just as enthusiasts The 2023 calendars are now shipping. Buy yours here.https://bit.ly/MooseManCalendar Support us! ❤️L One of my favorite activities, once the calendar moves into the month of MayThe best way to do this is to arrive at the local loon pond in the dark, slip the kayak into the water, explore and enjoy a quiet morning in the fog with the loons. I have to get my feet on the ground at 3:30 am to be able to arrive in the dark and on the water at 4:30 am. This video is about the different vocalizations of loons, their haunting calls are such a beautiful part of nature.Libby is just as passionate about loons as I am. She spends most mornings with them from May to the end of July. Let’s talk about how we film loons in a respectful way. My work with them began several years ago. Like all wild animals, loons have a “body language” that can be read, and the use of long lenses and slow movements ensures that their morning routine is not interrupted.Did you know that it takes around 1,000 books of small fish, crayfish and insects to raise each baby loon, from hatching in June until October, when it’s ready to fly out to the ocean for the first of many winters… Let us know in the comments below if you have any questions about the loon and its habitat. stay looking forward to more Sunday Fun Days! Thanks for watching our channel, we’re the husband/wife team of Rick and Libby Libbey, (Libby squared), New Hampshire (and Alaska part-time) wildlife photographers. It’s our passion to document wildlife in all its forms, but elk are definitely at the top of the list. In New Hampshire, we spend many of our spring and summer kayaking hours photographing loons and elk in New Hampshire waters. And we hike miles and miles in Alaska in search of all kinds of wildlife in the fall. For To find out more about Nikon/Sony equipment, techniques and wildlife, click on the links below. prints on canvas, framed, in metal, of our images, as well as derivative products: t-shirts, caps, mugs, puzzles, books and others, which you will find on our website. information :You can look at other videos on this link.Youtube: https://bit.ly/YTMooseManSite web: https://bit.ly/WebMooseManInstagram : https://bit.ly/IGMooseManNOUVEAU* Twitter : https://bit.ly/TWMooseManNOUVEAU* Pinterest : https://bit.ly/PTMooseMan#wildloon #bringbirdsback #birds #birdwatching #loon #commonloon #loonfamily #cuteanimals #loonnature #wildlifephotography #outdoorloon #loonkayak #loonbabies. #bullmoose #moose #mooserut #moosefight #moosephotography #mooseofinstagram #wildlifephotographer #alaska #moosetape #naturephotographylovers #naturephotography #wildlifephotography #wildlifephotographer #moosephotography #MooseMonday #outdoorlife #naturephotographer #PhotoOfTheDay #photography #moosehunt #huntalberta #moosehunting #nature #photo #naturelovers #wildlife#AlaskaYoung #layinglowalaskaRick and Libby Libbey ownersAndover, NH 03216
