Our most durable offering in Big Game is designed for extended forays above the tree line. The Timberline pants feature 4-way stretch fabric in an ergonomic cut that won’t slow you down when you’re gaining green, but will keep you warm when you’re settling in for a slow stem. All pockets feature silent snaps and zippers that won’t betray you and offer quick access to small essentials. The Timberline pants come with shoulder straps for customized comfort, and removable knee pads offer extra protection, whether climbing sharp rocks in the Northwest Territories or trudging through cholla in the Sonora Desert. The fit is athletic – we’ve tapered the legs and removed the heavy scuff guard to limit noise – and the low waist won’t pack or rub under a backpack. The seat and knees are reinforced with waterproof ripstop nylon, so a long effort on a wet saddle or a quick seat in the snow won’t leave you cold.
