Visit from a deer pierced by an arrow
Visit of a deer pierced by an arrow | Aventure Chasse Peche Moose Deer Outfitters and the great outdoors
Many deer visit this residence. One male among them, called Aaron, stands out in particular because his back is pierced by an arrow. After a few visits to the animal, we can observe the evolution of its wound. A few days later, we notice that the arrow has been removed and the wound is healing. We continue to follow his recovery until the forty-first day after he was shot. Surprisingly, the deer seems to be in good health.
Unfortunately, not all deer recover as well as Aaron. That’s why it’s important to remember that good practice is essential for accurate, deadly shots. Even if this kind of accident does happen occasionally, as hunters we have to work to limit them as much as possible.
