With the whitetail rut in full swing, Ben heads to Illinois. After many hours on the watchtower, Ben has no chance of meeting any of the males on the property. With the watchtowers producing nothing and the cameras showing little movement either, Ben wasn’t very confident, but he hoped that Javin’s arrival would trigger a bit of luck.
Javin and Ben hunted hard for several days and watched all the deer on the property, except for the two booners they hoped to harvest. With limited deer movement in Illinois, Ben and Javin decided to head to Kansas to try and fill Ben’s tag there. The hunt started slowly, but Ben’s luck quickly changed.
