As soon as there’s ice here in New Hampshire, no matter how cold it is, I’ll put the kayak in quiet waters to see the wildlife before people start frequenting the ponds. It was a magical morning. In fact, it all started on my way here, when I spotted a porcupine asleep in a tree and had to stop to film it. He’s not in this video, but he’s about to make one.
