Woodzoland Trout fishing in the Saguenay sector

In June 2021, I went on a fishing trip and stayed at Camping William, a small campground about 20 km from the Saguenay welcome center. I’d say there are around 10 pitches for seasonal workers and 2 pitches for passers-by. It’s a rather quiet place and the seasonal workers I’ve met are very friendly.

With my Polaris Ranger, I explored the camping sector. There are many beautiful lakes in the area, including Nosny, Jelly, Drucilla, William, St-Laurent, de l’Étoile, Betty, Bella, Foch, and many others. I’ve been there a few times and it’s a place I really enjoy.

As usual, my faithful companion Yoshi accompanied me on this adventure. He had to face the wrath of Mother Nature: while I was fishing, we were surprised by a rather heavy downpour. I did my best to protect him. Let’s just say it’s seen better fishing days!

The music you hear in this video is courtesy of Oleksii Kaplunskyi, available on Pixabay. I’d like to thank him for his generosity and talent. His music adds an extra dimension to my videos and I’m grateful to be able to use it.

Welcome to the WoodZoLand channel, where you can discover the joys of nature in Quebec. I’m passionate about camping, fishing, hunting, and side-by-side hiking.

My love of nature and fishing probably stems from the fact that I’ve been to outfitters with my parents on several occasions since I was very young. I love sharing my adventures with you, and helping you discover the beautiful landscapes and diverse wildlife.

I often travel with one of my faithful four-legged companions, who love to explore and have fun with me. I invite you to follow me on my escapades, mainly in Quebec’s controlled harvesting zones (Zec), where I enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature.

You’ll also see how I transformed my trailer into a comfortable caravan, where I can rest. I love cooking outdoors. There’s nothing like a good wood-fired meal, accompanied by a good brew!
